winter essentials!

Winter is creeping in slowly and steadily …drying the skin, making a mop out of hair and chapping the lips.

Here’s a checklist in the beauty zone before you spend all your money on cardigans and boots.

MaImageybelline Baby Blush:

Indian lips are naturally thick. Therefore I suggest you stay off the lip plumpers and glosses if you dont want to look like a forgotten porn star. However, if you love mattes which you should…winter is just not the season for you.

Hands on, I agree to every girl that has been saying it…the best Rs. 150/- I have spent this season is on the baby blush (coral flush) by Maybelline. Its worth it. And it actually feels like I am born with it.

Forest Essentials Soundarya Advanced Serum:

Launched last year, this is the second winter I will be using it. Its actually like a oil and it may feel sticky but listen to mommy and apply it every night and you will be blessed with a virginal glow in the morning.

Fall in love with your skin again…the money is totally well-spent

MAC Nail Lacquer:

Yes yes, our prayers for nail polishes with a difference have been answered. MAC has some beautiful A/W shades to choose from and hands down the one with the photo up is my favourite. Let the colours pop in your cardigans and let them be enhanced by your nails! There, fairy beauty godmother said so!

Elixir ultime

HAIR CARE. Double up the bad water that flows through our metropolitan taps….no bathroom is complete without one or two kerastase bottles.

Kerastase Grand Crus Oils: OMG. FINALLY. fragrant hair oil.

I LOVED PERFUMED OILS. They stay forever and definitely the best way to apply perfume.

BODY SHOP perfume oil : Totally the thing to try this winter. The oil stays longer which means the perfume stays on longer. Also skin remain soft. so WIN, WIN!

ImageH20 : Body Balm

I picked up a tube and I have been happy though I think it will be rather light for winter. Still looking for a perfect lotion to last me this season. Will update the list next time.
